The Sanctuary of Saint Mary in Kalwaria is a very special and unique place of pilgrimages of people from Poland. The most interesting and worth to see are those on Holy Week and in August – at Saint Mary’s celebrations. The Sanctuary is made up of a baroque basilica, a monastery, a complex of churches and chapels and the Way of the Cross inside of a wood. It’s also a place strictly connected to John Paul II. |
